A great resource for gaining direct assistance with specific issues is COPAA (Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates). Belonging to COPAA, even for a short period of time, and using their internal message boards can be eye-opening. This organization can provide a wealth of advice and information that may relate directly to your specific circumstances.
